A G.I.'s Visit to Alfedena in 1946          

While still stationed in Europe with the U.S. Army after WWII, Gilbert DiLoreto (1918-1998) visited relatives in Rome and in his parents' birth town of Alfedena, when these pictures were taken in April 1946.
